MBA Salaries in Pharmaceutical Industry Highest

<p>According to research produced by <em>TopMBA.com</em>, the <strong>highest paying MBA industry</strong> is that of the <strong>pharmaceutical</strong>, biotech and healthcare sector, averaging over US$100,000 plus substantial bonuses.</p><p>The annual QS <em>TopMBA.com</em> Jobs and Salary Trends Report, also shows that in North America and Western Europe, the construction/property (US$96,500), aerospace/defence (US$91,000), and finance (US$92,450) sectors to be amongst the highest paying industries for MBA graduates.</p><p>Add to these average salaries extra remuneration through annual bonuses, and these figures can shorten the return on investment of an MBA program considerably.</p><p>“Salary is not the only aspect of MBA compensation,” points out Nunzio Quacquarelli, managing director of QS Quacquarelli Symonds and author of the report.</p><p>“Employers recognise the investment MBA candidates have to make in paying for their qualification and the vast majority of MBA employers will pay a bonus in addition to base salary to their MBA hires.</p><p>“The average bonus payable to new MBA hires across <a href="/where-to-study/region/usa-canada/guide">North America</a> and Western Europe in 2012 averages over US$16,000, representing 18% of their total compensation.
